Eyebrow Dandruff - How to Get Rid of It Naturally

People with eyebrow dandruff just don’t like their own looks. They hate to socialize and avoid showing their face.

Some of them gradually come to terms with reality and may begin social interaction. People overreact to most conditions that affect their looks. This condition is not that bad. Dandruff in eyebrows can be cured quickly and most times at home depending on the underlying causes of dandruff.

What Causes Eyebrow Dandruff?

From simply a flaky skin to facial psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis can be responsible for Eyebrow Dandruff. The biggest problem it creates is the social embarrassment.

Dry Skin

When skin under the eyebrows become too dry, the eyebrows become flaky. This particularly happens during winter. The flakes of dry skin are usually smaller and white.

 

There is nothing really to worry about. Just apply moisturizing creams and you will be alright in most cases of winter dryness.

Seborrheic Dermatitis

The large flakes with red skin are usually caused by seborrheic dermatitis. The flakes are usually yellowish in color and give an oily feel. It is itchy as well.

Psoriasis

It is rare but psoriasis may cause dandruff on eyebrows. If you have psoriasis anywhere else in your body then there are chances that your face and eyebrows get affected in rare cases.

How to Get Rid of Eyebrow Dandruff ?

Treatment of eyebrow dandruff is not very difficult. Most of it can be done at home. The first thing you should do is to apply moisturizing cream if it is not the large oily patches types of flakes. Dry flakes will be treated easily by the moisturizers.

You can also use exfoliating face wash to remove the flakes. Do it carefully by closing your eyes.

Tree tea oil and oil oils have been found to be useful to remove and stop eyebrow dandruff of the dry skin type. Aloe Vera gel also does a good job of getting rid of the dandruff in eyebrows.

However if the condition is severe and caused by seborrheic dermatitis or in rare case by psoriasis, then consult your doctor.
