1. Acne Scar Removal with Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a very powerful skin lightening agent. It is the acidic nature of the juice that does the mild bleaching job. It has been used for ages to get rid of dark spots and acne scars on the skin.

You can apply lemon juice directly on your skin or dilute it with rose water to use it. Even a dilution with normal drinking water will produce the result. generally you may not require to dilute it but if your skin is sensitive to lemon juice then you will need to dilute it.

  • Cut a lemon into two pieces and squeeze the juice out simply by pressing the lemon by your hand or use citric juicer or lemon juicer to extract the juice. Apply the juice with cotton ball on all the affected area. Leave it there for 10-30 minutes and wash the skin with water. Do it twice a day for 6 weeks. Your acne scar would have significantly reduced or be completely disappeared within that period. Continue using it for longer period it lightening of the scar is not complete yet.
  • Add equal quantity of Vitamin E Oil with lemon juice and apply it on the acne scars. Leave it there as vitamin E oil will keep your skin radiant and fresh while the lemon juice does its job. Do it 2 -3 times a day. Always wash your skin before application.
  • Add juice of 2 lemons in one teaspoon of honey and mix it well. Keep the mixture in a sealed jar. You can apply the mixture with the help of a cotton ball on the affected area. leave it there for 30 minutes and wash your face with normal water.

Make sure that you don't get direct sun exposure during the period lemon juice is on your skin.

2. Raw Potato for Acne Scar

Potato Juice is a very potent ingredient for acne scar removal. Cut a potato from one end to make a 5mm thick slice. Immediately rub the slice on your acne scars so that the juice gets absorbed in the skin. Stop rubbing the slice when your feel that the slice has no more juice. Cut another slice and repeat the process.

A 10-15 minutes of such application every day will help to get rid of your acne scars faster. You can wash your skin with water after 10 minutes.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar works both on acne and acne scars differently. Due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties it helps to heal acne, while on the acne scars it works as to exfoliate dead skin. its acidic nature lightens the skin.

Dilute the Apple cider vinegar by adding twice the quantity of water to one tablespoon. With the help of a cotton ball apply it on the affected acne scar area of your skin. leave it there for 10-15 minutes and wash it off with water.

4. Tree Tea Oil

Tea tree oil has multiple medicinal benefits as it is an excellent antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal essential oil. Therefore it is used to treat acne as well as to lighten acne scars. Some skins are sensitive to tea tree oil therefore always use it diluted.

Take 2-3 drops of tea tree oil in a teaspoon and add equal drops of water. Mix it well and apply on the acne scar affected area with the help of a cotton ball.

leave it there as the oil is also a moisturizer. it will keep your skin hydrated.

5. Baking Soda

Baking soda works in a slightly different way than the acidic products such as lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Baking soda exfoliates the affected skin and works to remove the scar. It actually removes the dead skin that appears as a dark spot on the skin.

Make a thick paste of baking soda by adding water. Gently massage the paste on the affected area to let it do exfoliation job. Wash it off with warm water and apply baby oil as a moisturizer. Do it 2-3 times a week and do it before going to bed.
