- The most common natural ways to deal with perioral dermatitis are to avoid using any chemicals on the face. That means no facial creams, make ups, sun lotions/creams and any other cosmetics.
- Water alone should be used for face wash. It makes more sense to treat perioral dermatitis naturally as the face washing creams, liquids and soaps contain harmful chemicals that may impact sensitive skins to form rashes. After a few days of use of water, you can begin to use non soap based facial washes.
- Apply plain organic yogurt with active culture on the affected area twice a day. This cooling mask is soothing in short term and curing in long term. Many women have found it effective and there are no side effects of yogurt treatment.
- Other natural treatment that can be effective on some sufferer is to dab the affected area with a warm mixture of equal quantities of apple cider vinegar and green tea two to three times a day for a week or so.
