Well, aging has an impact on your skin, but with proper care and use of some home remedies you can rejuvenate your skin and feel great.

Stress and pollution are two main contributors to lose luster of your skin before time. Even improper skin care and overexposure to the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun, in addition to an unhealthy diet , smoking, alcoholism and lack of sleep all can put pressure on the skin health.

 

You can revitalize and rejuvenate your skin to get back the lost luster by making a few lifestyle changes in eating, drinking, sleeping and exercise habits.

1. Coconut Oil

Coconut is great remedy for skin rejuvenation. It helps dry skin to get the radiance it deserves. Soothing massage of coconut oil on your face and the entire body can recreate the magic your skin used to have some time ago.

  • Take half a teaspoon of virgin coconut oil in your hand
  • apply it on your face
  • massage gently in round movements lifting the facial skin form down to up
  • do it 2 times a day

Within a week you will begin to see skin getting softer, smoother and radiant.

2. Papaya

Papaya contains alpha hydroxy acids that act as natural scrub to nourish and revitalize the skin.

  • take one tablespoon of papaya and mix it with one tablespoon of honey
  • apply it on you face
  • gently massage it in circular motion lifting your skin upwards for 2 minutes
  • wait for 15 minutes or more for the papaya mix to dry
  • wash it with room temperature water
  • Do it daily

Your skin will begin to look better almost instantly. Within weeks you will see the lost luster coming back.

 

3. Watermelon

Watermelon is rich in lycopene which helps fight aging related wrinkles and fine lines. Make a facial pack of watermelon and cucumber to revitalize your skin.

  • take 100gm of grated watermelon and cucumber each and mix them well to make a thick paste
  • add a few drops of lemon juice
  • apply it on your face- no massaging
  • leave it for at least 20 minutes
  • wash it with water when the mask dries out

4. Orange Peel

orange is rich in vitamin C and orange peel are very good remedy for skin rejuvenation. Never throw orange peel in the dustbin. Instead, dry them in the sun and store them in the powdered form.

  • take 1 teaspoon of orange peel
  • add 1 teaspoon of gram flour
  • pour 2 teaspoons of milk to make a thick paste
  • apply the mix as face pack and leave it for 20-30 minutes until dry
  • wash it with warm water.

5. Banana

Banana is rich in Vitamin C and B6. Both these ingredients are good for maintaining elasticity and suppleness of the skin. Mash a ripe banana. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. Mix it well to prepare a face pack. Apply it on your face. Keep it there for 30 minutes. Wash it off with warm water.

In addition to all the above face packs and massages change your lifestyle too. Stop exposing your skin to harsh sun. Eat healthy. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Exercise for 45 minutes and sleep well.
