Loose motion is a condition in which you frequently pass tools which are loose and watery. This is not a very serious condition. Everyone can get into the problem of loose motion. 5 Effective Home Remedies for Loose Motion

Since you are losing a lot of body water during loose motion, the first thing you have to do is to regain the lost water and minerals.

1. Lemon and Rock Salt

Lemon is a very powerful fruit containing vitamin C and possessing antibacterial as well as antiviral capabilities. Lemon is also an immune booster. On the other side, rock salt is full of essential minerals such as potassium magnesium and sodium. So, if lemon and rock salt are added to water and consumed,then you will recover the lost water as well as regain the lost electrolytes due to water and the rock salt and lemon will fight with the bacteria.

  • Take one glass of room-temperature water
  • Extract juice of one lemon and add in the glass of water
  • Add a pinch of rock salt and mix it well

Slowly sip the lemon salt water. Do it 3-4 times a day for the next 2-3 days until your loose motion stops

2. Lemon and Mint

In addition to regaining the Lost water and minerals it is also important to soothe the stomach to stop loose motion quickly. Mint is very useful in soothing the upset stomach. You can also prepare mint tea to get the desired results. Add 10 dried mint leaves to one cup of Walter and put it on heat. Close the container to ensure that the vapors do not come out. Steep it for 10 minutes. Let it cool to acceptable temperatures and sip it slowly to enjoy.

3. Ginger

Ginger is very helpful in digestion and that is why it is used for many different stomach conditions including loose motion and diarrhea. Ginger helps move the food inside the stomach. This helps you in shopping the loose motion and in passing normal stools.

  • Peel and grate and inch of Ginger root
  • Add to a glass 4 cup of boiling water
  • Steep it for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Strain and let it cool

4. Yogurt

Yogurt contains a friendly bacteria called lactobacillus. So, all kinds of fungal, viral or bacterial infections in the stomach can be treated with yogurt. Make sure that the yogurt is fresh without any sweeteners all flavors. It should be organic yogurt.

Simply, eat 200 grams of yogurt twice daily for best results. Eat it every day until your loose motion is stopped.Make it a new habit to regularly eat 200 grams of yogurt even after full recovery from the loose motion. This will help you to avoid loose motions in the future.

5. Banana

Eat 1 or 2 bananas a day.
