Home Remedies for Dry Scalp

Aloe Vera juice is good to moisturize your scalp. You can apply pure Aloe Vera Juice without any preservatives to your scalp by gentle massage. You can leave it as it is without any shampooing or conditioning. It will make your hair also look good.

If dandruff is the cause of dry scalp then applying lemon juice can be a really good home treatment for dry scalp. Cut the lemon into half, remove the seeds and apply by rubbing on the scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash your hair with natural shampoo.

If the scalp is affected by fungal infection then apply tea tree oil. Just a few drops taken in hand and rubbing on the scalp daily twice a day will help reduce dry scalp.

Even applying plain yogurt helps relief from dry scalp itching. 

And the most important change you have to make is in the diet for dry scalp. So avoid any caffeine, alcohol and even excess of food containing vitamin A. Make sure your diet is rich in Vitamin B, C, iron and Zinc.
