Eczema Causes -What are the causes of Eczema?


Exact causes of eczema are not yet known by the scientists, but it is understood that certain triggers force the body immune system to overreact to cause eczema.

Some types of eczema can be triggered by the substances that come in contact with the skin. They may range from soaps, detergents, clothing, cosmetics and jewelry.

Persons own sweat and other environmental allergens may also cause eczema. Climate changes like temperature and humidly and even changes in stress levels can cause eczema outbreak.

Work place hazards that cause eczema include exposure to metal cutting fluids, resins, cement, cleaning products, certain salts and alkalis. Other products like nickel, rubber, latex, hair dyes, perfumes, potassium chloride and prolong exposure to range of other chemicals can cause eczema.

Food products like milk, soybean, eggs, peanuts, wheat and some seafood can trigger eczema in some people.

Other allergens like animals, pollens and dust mites which cause asthma can also cause eczema.

Medical conditions like chronic asthma or hay fever are some of the major causes of eczema outbreaks in children and occasionally in adults. Hypothyroidism and certain lever conditions also can cause eczema. 

Candida infection reduces body’s immune system resulting invariably in eczema outbreak in most cases.

Another important and well established cause of eczema is family history of eczema.

Every skin is different and it reacts in different ways to different nutrients and toxins. It is important for individuals to know what triggers eczema in their case and avoid that trigger so that they can stay away from chronic eczema.
